The partner model

Partners resell and own the client

Business Central partners resell licences through Microsoft's Cloud Solution Provider program, usually through a distributor, and then administer the client's environment. The partner owns the relationship from first demo to monthly support.

The market

Small and mid-sized businesses, with industry depth coming from partner and ISV add-ons for manufacturing, distribution, professional services and more. Microsoft's partner designation for business applications covers Dynamics 365 and Power Platform together, so a Business Central partner can also sell Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM apps such as Sales and Customer Service.

What a partner sales leader sells

  • Licence resale through Microsoft's CSP program
  • Implementation
  • Industry add-ons from ISVs
  • Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CRM apps
  • Managed support
  • Migrations from Dynamics GP

Why partners are hiring now

Microsoft has set the end of the road for Dynamics GP: standard support ends in September 2029 and security updates end in April 2031, and Microsoft is steering GP customers to Business Central. Every GP client is a migration conversation, and partners need sales leaders to have it before a competitor does.

Who we look for

Sales leaders from Business Central and GP partners, Microsoft-side sales leaders who want to own client relationships, and sales leaders from partners on other mid-market platforms who already sell to the same finance buyer.
